The GR is going to section off part of their amazing Lower Lobby just for us. The Ski Village area of the Lower Lobby is a lot of fun and has plenty of tables for eating and conversation.
Anytime from 17:30 to 20:30 on Sunday evening, go by any of these venues and order something “to go”:
Mountain Pass Sports Bar (lobby level),
Marketplace (lobby level),
Vista Montagne (Lower Lobby), or
Monte Jade Express (Lower Lobby). Take your pager to the Lower Lobby. Go past the
authentic historic caboose, over the
railroad bridge, by the
cave, under the
waterfall to the Ski Village.
Look for people wearing
C++ tee shirts and get to know all your new friends and reacquainted with all your long-time friends.
When your pager goes off, retrace your steps, get your food, and return the Lower Lobby.
Some important notes:
- Since the sports bar (Mountain Pass) will be crazy busy, they are asking that we place all our “to go” order “upstairs,” that is, on the lobby level.
- If you order from the Marketplace, you’ll not need a pager because you can take your food with you.
- Registration begins at 20:00 on Sunday, but take your time, we don’t need everyone to show up exactly at 20:00, it only makes the line longer. On the other hand, don’t be too long, because the Registration Reception follows immediately after you register.
